This is B-Rad, I have been stalking everybody for awhile. I had an account a long time ago, but couldn't log back in. So I created a new one. I have been attempting to BBQ on a Kingsford Offset Smoker from Academy. After GOD knows how many years trying to get it right and the frustration of the thin metal and the small size of the pit(if I can call it that). My wife finally LET me order my dream pit for our 20th anniversary. I pulled the plug yesterday and ordered the LSG 24 x 48, with a lot of the options and suggestion I found on here. Now I just have to wait +/- 14 weeks

Welcome. I remember when Spring was actually a separate town and the Good Year Blimp Station was the main attraction

Welcome to the Big time.
I remember when I ordered my Lone Star Grillz. My wife been on my back side for a long tome to spend the money.
It took a while to get it built. I do recommend the Thermoworks " Smoke" thermometer and the " Gateway" that makes it read via WIFI.
Best money I ever spent.
