Hi there all,
I will start by saying I have been in the BBQ Scene for many years, about 20 years ago I opened a little restaurant in Deport Texas named Lonesome Dove Cafe. After a few years times got tough and I had to shut her down. I then had a smallish choo-choo 10ft trailer 48x24 smoker pit and a concessions trailer and set up shop at a weekly flea market. That had to end due to the birth on my youngest daughter. I continued to smoke meat for family and friends but I had to take a job in corporate world. I am now getting back in the scene I traded the 48x24 pit and bought a 72x38 pit on a 19ft trailer, is a big boy. I am wanting to get in the competition circuit and bring the joy of BBQ back.
