Greetings from North Idaho
Although I need much more practice cooking, it has quickly become my favorite pastime.
I live in rural North Idaho and enjoy the seclusion. What I see in the distance from my back deck has not changed in 30 years, and my former drive to work was about 10 miles and had not a single traffic light along the way.
I just retired a short while ago, and retirement is just what others have said - I never seem to have enough time to do what little I manage to get done.
I cook on a variety of devices because I do not have the experience to cook adequately on any single cooker, so this is my stable:
Pellet cookers: GMG Davy, and Traeger with Pellet Pro PID
S.R.G
Bradley OBS
Big Green Egg Mini
Gas grill
Wood fired pizza oven
I'm glad to be here

Re: Greetings from North Idaho
Thanks for the warm welcome, folks!
I purchased a masonry kit a few years ago, and just completed the color coat last week - takes me a long time to complete my projects
It is supposed to be terra cotta, but it kind of looks like the great pumpkin to me

Nice!!! Ready for the burn-in and then pizza.
A few of us have migrated from the Pellet forum. Looks like we're getting the band back together.

The funny part is that I've been using the oven the entire time - I've just been too lazy to get it completed to the point where it looks presentable, but it was functional.
Thanks for the welcome OUP, and I'm looking forward to browsing folks methods and ideas so I can apply them to my own cooks
