New to smoking from Louisiana!

Postby LAsmoker » Sat Aug 26, 2017 12:13 pm

Hey guys, recently purchased a lyfe tyme pit 20x40 offset smoker and I'm new to smoking stuff. I've always just bought matchlight charcoal and grilled steaks, fajitas, chicken breast, etc. But with this new smoker id like to try maybe a brisket or pork butt etc. hopefully y'all can guide me in the right path. Thanks

So you are on someone's site and trying to sell your goods off sucklebusters back. Don't you think that's a bit rude.?

Youngsville!? You are in the middle of boudain and crawfish country - very nice

Ever go to Nunu's? Love their sausage (steen sausage is excellent) and the ribeye burgers are mighty fine.
