Howdy! From the third coast.

And thanks to everyone for sharing your knowledge to help others to cook it up hot and smokey.
I have an Ok Joes longhorn original and planning some modifications ( smoke stack extension, CC chimney elbow ext. to food rack level, heat baffle plates, minion basket ).

Thanks for the welcome y'all! And thanks Mark142 for the help, I've read roger is a real stand up guy at horizon and perhaps one of two founding brothers at OK joes. Nice to know when looking at supplies and options for a 17 yr. old Bbq ($299.00 @ the local Academy). I am also thankful to live in TEXAS where there is no shortage of pit makers and great Bbq.
