Hey folks --
Been lurking this forum a little while now. I've smoked meat a couple times on my dad's offset when I visit him which gave me the bug. After researching around, I decided I'd just build myself a little UDS. I've always really enjoyed cooking for people and always find myself cooking whether at my house or someone else's. Looking forward to adding smoke to my list of culinary proficiencies.
My dad is coming to watch the Super Bowl this weekend so on Monday I decided it's time to build a UDS. Been working on my lunch breaks and before work in the garage to get it set up for smoking. Only thing left to do is install the temperature gauge to get smoking. Some other stuff I'd like to add over time but since I'm on a time crunch, I need to prioritize my efforts!
