Newbie from South Florida

Postby hydrodave25 » Sat Jan 07, 2017 7:51 am

Good morning. I am new to the forum and fairly new to BBQ (not eating, just cooking). I have used the electric smokers that feed pucks, but found they do not hold up very well and suspect I can do better by building my own smoker. I am in the process of building a smoker and will be posting a question in the correct forum section. In looking around briefly through the forum, I can tell this is a great resource of information. Thanks in advance for any help.

It's the best place for BBQ and certainly the friendliest people for advice.

What's up Dave. Can't wait to see your progress on your new smoker. I'm in the process of building one myself. I'm in central Eastern Mississippi. What part of Florida are you in.

Welcome Dave, when I see someone's from Florida I always think of coral gables, I had a friend who has since passed away lived there for a while, he loved the weather. Look forward to pics.
