Hi from Melbourne - Australia

Postby mickeytg » Mon Jan 02, 2017 1:09 am

Hi All, (or G'Day)

I've only just started in the business of smoking and have had a charcoal weber for a couple of years and just purchased a Pro Q to learn the art of low, slow cooking and smoking meats. I'm a member of a few Aussie forums but why not go straight to the source and hang with Americans who have been doing this for years. I might learn something...........

Welcome to the forum. We raffled of a Pro Q at a benefit a few years back, I really like the look and feel of the Pro Q.

What a great welcome!! I did my first pulled pork (Boston Butt) the other day. Probably started it a tad later than usual and was a bit rushed in the end but it worked out ok. Looking forward to doing more, along with ribs next time. I'm still new so one step at a time!

Boy...now your just making me hungry. I lived in Australia for several years many moons ago and my brother still lives in Canberra. Love the country and can't wait to go back for a visit.
Your going to love this forum, everyone is very friendly, helpful and most of all we all have the same love of Q.
