hi ya all ok still looking for an upgrade smoker.. anybody have Horizon smoke 16" classic backyard smoker sold at Bass Pro Shop looks like well built but never smoked on a Horizonal so use to vertical... thanks for any info Zeke...

What sort of cooks are you looking to do?
I had a 16" offset that I learned on. At 16" in depth, you can't fit a rack of ribs across it, so it will limit the amount of food you're able to cook.
Horizon does make good pits.
