Hey there Russ. I remember my greatgrandmother boiling ribs,but she baked them. I have never heard of boiling them first. Please tell me more
Is it for taste or tenderness

Justin, boiling is not the Texas way, but I'm self taught and admit in the PAST, I would boil ribs for 30 to 40 mins, then cook them in the oven with my own sauce, I can tell you they always turned out fine. I'm being re educated to not boil. Lmfao. Boiling can also earn you a ban, and a fine. :deadhorse: :deadhorse: :deadhorse:
