New to the forum. I've lived in the Texas panhandle nearly all of my life (except for a 3 year stint in Northwest Arkansas. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't Texas.) I've had a big steel offset for several years. It grilled great, never liked the way it smoked. So I craigslisted it and am going to build an UDS soon. I have a Weber gas grill that is getting me by in the mean time. I love bbq, it's one of my passions. At some point I'd like to get into ground pit cooking. 30 years old and work for Happy State Bank.
