Hello All,
My name is bandonov from Toronto, Ontario
My love for Real BBQ came from my trip to Dallas last year. I met up with some of my Texas friends and went on a BBQ Crawl and boy did I eat well! On my last trip to the US, I went to Springfield, IL and had their BBQ. It was good but not Texas good. I decided right there I had to try to make my own Texas BBQ at home. I bought a Broil King Offset Barrel Smoker: http://www.broilkingbbq.com/grills/smoke/smoke_offset_charcoal_smoker
I'm no where near calling myself a Pit Master but I will enjoy myself smoking my way to becoming one.

I'm lucky to have a few really good friends in Texas. One of my friends sends me what I call the "Texas Care package" inside he sends me, spice rubs and BBQ sauces that I can't get up here in Canada. It's the closest thing to being in Texas!

Welcome, I'm a Texan transplanted from Tennessee. I have had fun learning to BBQ brisket here. Enjoy!
