Elgin, TX. Newbie

Postby Finatic » Thu May 07, 2015 2:31 pm

Hello. Jerry here from Elgin Texas. As I searched around the net from time to time I kept finding links to this website so I thought it's time to join. I've been a barbecue fan for years. I do a couple of cook-offs a year and cook for fun any chance I get. I cook on an offset stick burner and a smaller charcoal pit. About to start on a UDS. Will post a pic when I'm done.

Looking forward to chatting and getting to know some of the Texas BBQ Forum crew.

Thanks y'all.

Starting the battle of who has the best sausage in Elgin is one I'm not gonna get in the middle of. Southside is good. So is Meyers. Meyers makes some of the best deer sausage I've ever had.
