Thanks for the welcome! DaHorns linked me here from another BBQ forum.
A little about me. I live in Manchaca, which is a small town south of Austin but I can almost throw a stone into Austin city limits. I am huge into tournament bass fishing so if I'm not on the lake on the weekends I'm usually in the back yard with a beer watching the smoker.
I currently cook on a New Braunfels Black Diamond smoker that is about 10 years old and shows it.
In August I will be purchasing a Lyfe Tyme double barrel smoker as a birthday present to myself. Its the horizontal one with the vertical smoking chamber on the end. I'm pretty excited about it. I just cook for family and friends so this one should suit my needs for many years to come.

Hey Brent. Now aint nobody gonna hold it against ya cuz of being pals with Da Horns..hopefully:) Welcome. Now aint the name of your home town pronounced Man-shack? If so I heard of it. Got an old chum who got one of them Life Tyme pits and he just loves it. Bet you like a kid waiting on Christmas to get that thang huh?
