Thanks for the welcome! DaHorns linked me here from another BBQ forum.

A little about me. I live in Manchaca, which is a small town south of Austin but I can almost throw a stone into Austin city limits. I am huge into tournament bass fishing so if I'm not on the lake on the weekends I'm usually in the back yard with a beer watching the smoker. :D

I currently cook on a New Braunfels Black Diamond smoker that is about 10 years old and shows it.

In August I will be purchasing a Lyfe Tyme double barrel smoker as a birthday present to myself. Its the horizontal one with the vertical smoking chamber on the end. I'm pretty excited about it. I just cook for family and friends so this one should suit my needs for many years to come.

Glad I found the TBF and thanks again for the welcome. Happy Que'in!
