I saw you guys on the net. I have been cooking and eating Texas BBQ all my life. Grew up in Abilene but spent my summers around Llano and San Saba. Learned a lot about BBQ from Tommy Cooper and Kenneth Laird in Llano and from helping my dad feed large crowds at the Ranch on weekends and holidays. I was looking for a recipe similar to Rudy's BBQ sauce and found this site. I am in Round Rock not far from Austin. Thanks, Ed Thomas :)

Hey Wilded..I an Whiskeyta Falls boy myself..which aint but about a 18 pack drive to Abilene last I drove it. Actually last time I went it was from Vernon to yalls Country dancehall..Butterfield Junction rings a bell for some reason... and back on a Suzuki 1100. We stopped to take a pee and drink a beer with Jeanie C. Reily in Anson. Thats all I remember other than the money man on the back had his cab fare in his shirt pocket and it blowed out somewhere enroute. Good news is I got paid the next day. He wanted to go ddown there to see his ex espousa la grande. Whew..whut a waste of time and money. Now she was real purty in the face and have muy grande chi chis. Maybe that is whut he seen in her. I aint sure. Looked like a whale blubber factory to me:)

A native Texan is a Texan wherever, whenever and no matter what. Being Texan and from Texas is a way of life and state of mind. :D
