Howdy All!

Howdy All!

I'm happy to join y'all here on this forum. I've been grillin for many years on both gas and charcoal. I've bee BBQ'n for a much shorter time. Used to use a New Braunfels offset, but since I don't need to cook for large numbers of folks have gone to a ceramic cooker, the Grill Dome. I love the versatility.

I live in Pensacola, FL but my heart is always in Texas. I started cooking brisket again because there just isn't anyplace around here to get good brisket, and I just couldn't wait for my next business trip to Austin, or visit to my parents in Fort Worth.

Hey Mike...

Several of us live in the DFW area. Be sure to let us know when you come to town and maybe we can all get together for lunch or something.
