Looks like "Rocky" ran the Porch Pusses off and had their Breakfast this Morning.

If it wasn't against Subdivision rules, he would be destined for a large Pot of Stew.

Well, I think I'm spoiling him just like the Porch Cats - - - this morning I thought for a minute that He/She? was going to eat out of the plate while it was still in my hand.

Dunno how they taste, but they can carry rabies.

I am aware of that possibility as always - - - He? was the first one in line this morning and his nose was on the back door waiting for me to bring out the food I believe he would have eaten out of my hand, had I offered it to him that way.

He doesn't seem to be afraid of the cats or they of him. A young one?

I'm sure that he is young - - - I think I've mentioned this before but when we lived West of Lampasas in the Hill Country we had a Feral Cat and a Fox that would eat together like that.

They're cute when they are babies, even possums.

yes indeed, when we lived up by Buffalo, Texas we had a small possum that would come to the glass french doors at the back porch and scratch on it until we fed her - - - about a year later she came across the back yard carrying a litter of babies and that was quite a site to behold

some of the best "pets" are those you feed and watch, a game warden friend has a great horned owl named woody, he raised from a chick, that owl is a face book fanatic it answers to its name and is silent in flight, at night and frequents his owners presence for a plate of raw chicken quite a site to behold especially in the quiet dark of night. you can check his postings on facebook by doing a search for Dale moses gamewarde...
