Doug Lee, of Prairieville, adds another story to our series on human/animal foods:
"When I was just out of college and moved into my first apartment in Fat City, I had a buddy, Brian Wall, who would come over, check my pantry and grab whatever looked good to him.
"Knowing this, I took some of my dog’s treats out of their wrapper and put them in a plastic bag.
"Of course, he came in one afternoon, went straight to my pantry, picked up the bag and put a couple of the treats in his mouth, asking, 'What’s this?'
"I didn’t answer, and he continued to chew them up. He finished them and said, 'This is dog food, isn’t it?'
"To which I smiled and said, 'Yes.'
"He closed the bag, continued looking and asked, 'What else ya got?'"
