I wouldn't know about wine, but in the old days tequila was known to have a similar effect :drunk: :drunk: :drunk:

Tequila = playing strip poker with the Secretaries while waiting for the Office Christmas Party to start - - - RULES: downing a "shooter" was also a penalty including removing something from one's body.

All I remember was that "they cheated". While our shirts, shoes, socks, boots and etc were in the annie pile, all they contributed was ear-rings, hair clips and assorted jewelry - - - -

THANK GOD we had to stop to go to over to Market Square to the Party early.

The end of the album where they talk to people that worked with him is soooo funny, the guy that said he used to babysit for him just cracks me up. As you say the back up,singers are awesome. The boss came across a bit too creepy for me though. Just me though, not a fan of him.

As an aside all my friends that know me, know the black n white album. And..........nearly everyone I know now own that album as well. During any BIG night here the first DVD to go on is Roy. We had cup day here recently and a mate of mine couldn't make it here, but he did ring me around 9pm and the first thing he asked was, has Roy been on yet, lol, I guess I'm predictable.

Not that I put Elvis Presley on the same pedestal that most folks do :dont: :dont: (I think he was mediocre at best, and stole most of his music from old Black blues singers) :dont: :dont: but he said Roy O. had the best male vocals he had ever heard. He could definitely sing anything. His range was 9 octaves.

Russ, did you know that James B got his start playing guitar behind Ricky on the Ozzie and Harriet Show ? He then went on to be "Elvis's" lead guitarist. 8)

Outlaw, I agree with everything you said about Roy O HOWEVER, until he learned how to use and not use his falsettos in the Studio, he was just another singer :dont:

I didn't know that Emm, the whole group of people in that vid were and are amazing and all have great stories to tell about Roy. Even down to my daughters fave singer who I can't think of ATM. She's 1 of the 2 girls that sing backup.
