My buddy gave me this . It was rusted pretty bad. A few pit marks.
I scrubbed it and most of the rust came off.
This thing is 20 in. wide by 3 in. deep.(All I picture in my head is about 10 lbs of cornbread )
Hows about some opinions guys.
Season? Or don't bother?

Season it fer sure! Found an old rectangular skillet in a long abandoned loggin camp deep in the Maine woods 25 or so years ago.....was covered with about a 1/2 in of rust, but I carried it out, took it home and argued with the wife about not heaving it....brushed it down, laid in some oil and seasoned 'er multiple times....still using it today.....dj

Get one of those round wire brushes and stick it in a variable speed drill. Pull the trigger, apply the brush to the pan and the rust will leave the pan pronto. Then season it with BACON grease
