Southwest Airlines Question

Postby nascarchuck » Thu Apr 12, 2007 1:46 pm

I have never flown on SW before and would like to confirm something.

I was told last Sunday by someone that they were going to be charged a fee (more than the actual ticket) to change flights.

I was always thinking that SW was known for being able to make changes without penalties. Am I wrong or was I told something that isn't true?

My wife had to pay an extra $ 65.00 when she changed the date of her return flight. I think most airlines charge a fee to change dates and times. They called it a transfer fee :? :x

Hmmmm... OK... they said $60, but may have meant $65.

Guess that I was wrong about SW not having the fee...

Thanks OSD
