No big plans here. My wife has to work Sunday night, but she has requested her 2nd favorite food - lasagna. So, while she's sleeping Sunday, I'll be working on what I hope will be some top notch eating for her! Time to go shopping for some good cheeses....

For Mother's Day,i'm grilling salmon, aspargus,&thinking about doing twice baked potatoes[not sure if they'd go with the fish].The salmon will sit on a bed of rice.I'll bake a cake on the grill, top with fresh strawberries. Oh yeah, got to have some garlic bread.

Tomorrow morning, we're going to the nursery to pick up some garden plants. I'll have to go grocery shopping at some point. I have no clue about Mother's Day. I sent a card to my mom earlier this week but no one in my family has even mentioned it.

Waiting on the wife to decide what she would like for Mama's day... It's usually something simple like shrimp or crab... Her day, her decision.

Other than that, I've torn apart another bathroom here at the house, so I'm sure several trips to Lowe's and Home Depot are upcoming.

Like James B, waiting for the wife to make a final decision for Mothers Day. The kids are taking her to a brunch but for dinner it will be just the two of us... I hope. Have 2 nice NY steaks to grill but if the kids and grandkids decide to hang around, the steaks will be in a stir fry with lots of veggies!

As for tomorrow, weather should be dry so have to do some yard maintenance since we be going to HI next week...

a hui hou,

Workin  Taking a quick break to check in.

Not been cooking too much lately, a burger here and there.

I might try to throw a pizza on tonight if it doesn't rain.

Thankfully our daughter is bringing stuff for mother's day, and I might just have to cook the chicken.

Happy mother's day to all the mothers!
