It is good stuff. I don't have access to mayhaws and don't go down to see the relatives in Louisiana anymore but I found it at a local grocery.

I looked it up.
Mayhaw is related to the crabapple, but comes from a hawthorne tree. And we had one! But a storm destroyed it. We also once had a crabapple, which met with a similar end.
