I have an older blackstone with the rotating pizza stone. The rotisserie motor can be seen below, cooking at about 7-800 degrees, on propane.

I have an Ooni pro with the gas attachment. I can also use coals/wood.
My son in law has the Ooni 16” I think. Gas only.

We both love them.

Blackstone was not making any 4-5 years ago when I bought mine. They are making them again.
I would love to have a rotating stone, but I’ve learned to turn my pizza.

I bought my blackstone after they had ceased production, lowes was closing them out, so got it cheap as pizza ovens go...
I have read alot about the ooni and it is great to hear from an ooni owner, my ideal pizza oven would be natural gas fired, but folks
I have conversed with folks that say the natural gas dosen't get at hot as propane, once one does the thermodynamics it is easy to see, but natural gas is
so convenient to use....
Since blackstone has reentered the pizza oven their price is above what I would pay, The only problem I have had with mine is, the rotisserie motor that came with it was battery powered
so I put a heavy duty bbq rotisserie motor on it, since there is no bearing on shaft that turns the platter that holds the pizza stone, I give it an occasional shot of wd to keep from announcing to the
neighborhood that I am cooking pizza :laughing7:

I just remembered,..I heard a few days ago there is a turntable mod for the Ooni. I have not looked into yet though.

Here is one link to a mod. https://thepizzacalc.com/rotating-stone ... izza-oven/
