We just got the call.... Hudson is getting his new heart today or tomorrow

They said the donor heart looks great and they are doing repairs on Hudson now. Donor heart should be here about noon. It takes about an hour to sew the new heart in. Then they will check for leaks and then close. I will update again when they finish.

The old heart is out. He is on bypass. They are almost done with repairs. New heart is here and ready. About 2 more hours we will get an update in person.
