Jimmy Buffet has passed on

I think he lived it the way he wanted. There are some songs that stand alone and will always be recognized and you can’t help but enjoy them, Margaritaville is one of those

Sad news, I remember listening to him back in the 70's. He will be missed.

Sad news, he played the Woodlands a lot, and I saw him a lot. Fun times, he will be missed for sure.

He was a legend, we went to one of his concerts at the juice box in Houston, it was the most fun of any I have ever attended.
My first memories of him was my teen years, they didn't play him much back then on the radio, so it was records and 8 track tapes.... :drunk:

I sent Rambo a video earlier today from the Buffet concert at the pavilion in The Woodlands. This particular one was from June of 2019. It’s too big of a file to share it here. But I saw him quite a few times up there. Great memories, the girls all dressed up in their parrot head stuff, and we would rent a party bus. I have some photos of that I can share.

The 2019 show I recorded Its 5 o’clock Somewhere live with my phone. But it’s too large to post here.

First the legendary Cheeseburger in Paradise in Maui (not owned but clearly inspired by him) burns to the ground along with 1000 good people dead, and now the Poobah of Padre and the Majarajah of Muscle Schoals is gone too. Very sad. Life is all about “changes in latitudes”.

I need a Livingston Saturday Night.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
