Dining out - shellfish

Postby Norway Joe » Fri Sep 03, 2021 2:41 pm

If some of you ever come to Norway, I'll take you to this seafood restaurant.

Had a great plate of fresh coldwater seafood. Coldwater shrimps, crab, crab claws, king crab and Norway lobster. All of it caught in the water just outside. Except for the King crab which is caught up north.

Served with fresh bread, butter, lemon, dill and aioli.

Served with a Portuguese Alvarinho white wine.

Tasted absolutely fantastic.

Eating Shellfish when it's FRESH CAUGHT is the Best Way :wav:
We used to go to Galveston to fish and we'd camp overnight.
We would always go Crabbing in the evening and boil them right then and eat for Supper "fresh" yum yum yum :chef:

I notice that this was Norway Joe (Chuckwagon Joe) post and realized that he's been pretty much absent for several months now. Hope everything is going well for he and his Family. Have any of you seen him elsewhere or heard from him lately ??

MISS YA JOE  :chef: :salut:

It’s my fault he’s gone I suspect. He was upset with Putin and the invasion of Ukraine and I locked a thread he started. :whiteflag:
