Re: Please Pray for Louisiana
We've got some dear Friends over there and we've been sending up Prayers for 3 days and will continue. My Podnah, over in Gonzales is very concerned with this one and Prayers are much needed.

BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Same here, Rambo.
I watched the active Radar as it made landfall last night and then watched as the "Eye of the Storm" went directly over my Friend's Place. I haven't heard from any of them and I'm very worried. Been praying all morning.

The last I heard earlier this afternoon they had not been able to contact anyone from Grand Isle

Re: Please Pray for Louisiana
Got THIS Email last night and then I could finally go to sleep.
"Hey, we are all good, slight damage as usual. I'll holler when I get caught up with clean up. Gonna need a new roof, grrrrr, bunch of shingles went bye bye. Thanks for checking on us. On generator power, will probably take a week or better to get power back on. Many trees and lines down locally."

Re: Please Pray for Louisiana
Have not confirmed myself, but a friend whose son is at Tulane reports school is evacuated for several weeks, water, sewer and power inoperable in sections of New Orleans. Her son bugged out for points west.
Video of Grand Isle pretty tough. In this article:
