That's the worst part about it Parts. It's the people and families involved. Those guys left to go to work and are never going home alive. And who knows how long they were on the rig before this happened. It's heartbreaking for me.

Good to hear you're good, Greg. Also thought about you when I saw the accident on the news.

I wouldn’t say it is free. There is a price to be paid for working out here. But I wouldn’t trade it either.

You are right about that my friend.
If you are married it is a testament to the couples bond for sure. Being gone for 2 weeks to a month at a time can take its toll.

Kevin I would love to go back to being gone just 2 weeks a month. They have laid so many people off that it seems we just work all the time. I left the house on the 2nd, I hope to be home around the 24th-26th time frame. I spent Easter in 5 days of quarantine in a hotel room in Metarie LA. Eating cold ham and scallop potato's out of a styrofoam box. But it was free.

Its ok Rambo, I was never smart enough to get on the easy road. But they did deposit some money for me today, so all is good.

Life of an oilfield hand been there done it. I spent more time gone than at home in the '80's and '90's missed a lot of my children growing up feeding my family.

I was in O&G for many years but as a Exploration and Land Draftsman. Worked for many Geologists and Geophysicist that came from the Patch and I wouldn't take anything for the experience and friendship that I received.

Well, another week has gone by, I’m still eating out. BBQ again tonight, with the same spread in the original photos. But I knew that meat had been smoked, so I went and tracked down the source.

It’s a Yoder out of Kansas.

If you can see that big yellow piece on the back of that boat, I am going to install that tomorrow or Friday.

Yo, Compadre, Gulf Waters look pretty good. I'll bet that weekly "Q" is welcomed and goes down great out there. Be Safe and Take Care :salut: :texas:
