That’s not the blue smoke I’m looking for.

Haha. That would be cool.

It's north light. Called Aurora Borealis. Actually I'm looking forward to the weekend because the northern light is supposed to be very strong in the next few days. Usually it's only visible up north but they say we can expect to see it from my place and that's not very often.

Going north watching the northern lights is a big tourist attraction.

Check out this video from the northern part of Norway. Showing the northern light. It's beautiful.

Green, hmmm. Reminds me of the smoke that used to come out of the Cadet dining hall on campus at the old A&M.

Never saw one myself, but...

When my mother was a child, vacationing in Maine, she saw one of those (Northern Lights, NOT Joe cooking!). The whole family was terrified; they thought it was the end of the world.

Pretty sure some of the Mobil homes that mysteriously went boom back home in East Texas had a similar green glow…

J/K - if you know, you know

That would be a beautiful sight to see in person. Really nice picture

Pretty sure those Norwegian lights don’t have quite the same stench.

Had a house down the street from our lake house go boom like that. Just a slab to this day. Not sure if they are still locked up or not, probably not.

That’s ok Joe - in some rural (and some not) areas there are meth houses where they cook methamphetamines. Highly volatile and when the place blows up generally everybody knew it would happen eventually
