I remember in Frisco Colorado, one Winter these Lady Snow Bunnies were in our Office and one of them said !
"I'll bet that Summers are absolutely beautiful here !" and my Super, Bill Brady, said "Yes Mam, I just hope I don't have to work that Weekend !"

As mentioned we're expecting about 1 meter of snow in the next 36 hours. Then on Friday weather changes and wind picks up. Expecting a windstorm (Beaufort 10) on Friday. That's not common here.

Love skiing the stuff. Nothing better than standing up on top watching the sun set, then shoving off on the last run down to a warm fire, hot bowl of chili, and a cold beer in a good mountain bar. The smell of burning aspen against the sharpness of the pines. Yessir. Makes a man wanna grow a beard, start wearin flannel; maybe learn how to yodel. Go out and buy some tire chains... maybe quit the corporate job and go be... a lumberjack.

We have all our Ski materials in Austria and can watch our home only by our cameras. Crazy world ....

Maybe you are different

Snow makes our dog happy as well as the children and us too.
Driving on snow is much more funny and not material wasting by drifting, it looks friendlier and all the wintersport is at least as funny as the normal summersport is.

So why it is a pain?

Hey Boots, altho I never wanted to be a Lumber Jack, all the rest was on the money.
