So far it's only sleet - - - never know what we'll see at daylight. We've got a lot of Bridges around here and they will be surprise packages right before daylight to those headed to work.

Stay safe no use mucking around on the roads. We got about an hour’s worth here, very steady but melted hitting the ground.

Not nice for me; I hate this crap

Should be gone tomorrow though, right? Assuming you guys aren’t having cold enough temps to let it hang around

33 now, forecasting 32, midnight, 31 at 4. It’s the perfect recipe for disaster with people who aren’t accustomed to driving in it. My wife had a test scheduled for 6:30 AM in the morning, we canceled. Got me a big Ol fire rolling; the farthest I’m going is to the barn
Be careful. Actually temperatures around freezing point is the worst and when it may feel coldest. Colder there is the dryer air. Humid cold air goes to your bone marrow.

Here we usually have a setting on the heating systems that raise indoor temperatures with a couple of degrees when outdoor temperatures are between +5/-5. That's because this is when it feels "house cold".

No power. Did get the generator hooked up after it got daylight. Lots of limbs down, it’s a mess. I’ll post pictures later: headed to town to get fuel for generator, I was poorly prepared but didn’t think it was going to be this bad. At least I have the refrigerator and freezer running; we did get a cup of coffee this morning and were able to charge our phones

Tyler checking in. We had about 5in of snow overnight and the power went out about 6 p.m. I did get the generators hooked up and have lights refrigerator freezer running. no heat to speak of. For some reason my furnace decided to crap out or is not compatible with the generator. So as of right now the target time for repairs is 5 p.m. but I seriously doubt that we're going to see electricity anytime soon. Best of luck to all those that are still without power.

Yeah, Oncor told us the same crap about 5 today but they just sent me a text saying it will be after noon tomorrow; makes you appreciate things we take for granted

Got hold of my son in Nac earlier. His power has been out since sometime yesterday. I got almost enough snow to cover the grass.... almost.
Hoping things improve and get back to normal for y’all soon.
