Texas Blizzard

Postby bsooner75 » Sun Jan 10, 2021 1:54 pm

I’m sure we’ll cover the grass but that’s about it. Some areas are getting some decent coverage. Thought those of you in other areas of the country or world would get a kick out of it. Zoom in real close!!!! I’ll post more of it accumulates

Nothing stuck but I bet some of the members got some coverage. News said Stephenville got 8”. I think Tyler got some good snow too and probably still coming. Just talked to Mom in Longview and it hasn’t quite gotten there yet

Should be gone tomorrow though, right? Assuming you guys aren’t having cold enough temps to let it hang around

33 now, forecasting 32, midnight, 31 at 4. It’s the perfect recipe for disaster with people who aren’t accustomed to driving in it. My wife had a test scheduled for 6:30 AM in the morning, we canceled. Got me a big Ol fire rolling; the farthest I’m going is to the barn

No snow down here in SouthTexas, but the temps will drop to the low 30's tonight.

Power just went out; probably big limbs falling on the lines. This may be one helluva night
