Will talk to the Big Man too. The Cajun Navy will have its work cut out.

Remember when my family first moved to southeast Texas circa 1977. I think it was the following April there must’ve been a hurricane hanging on the coast; I recall Conroe flooded heavily and it rained at our place 70 miles north for the entire month of April, every day. We had two or 3 inches of standing water in the yard for over a week at one point. One of the reasons when I retire I want to live on a mountain.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Prayers going up for those in Harm's Way. I was in contact with my Friends in Gonzales just out of Baton Rouge and they had just gotten back from Talledaga. He told me that they STAY PREPARED for these things so there wasn't anything to do except watch and wait.

Boot's, I don't remember Anita but all of East Texas remembers Alicia ('83)
We got a huge Oak Tree thru the roof and into my Son's bedroom but were lucky that it was not too bad.
I stood at the back patio door and watched full grown Oak Trees flying thru the air over our Ranch like
leaves in the wind.

God BLess the Gulf Coast

We barely dodged it again here in the Pines. Maybe 20 mph gusts, steady light rain all day. Not the same story just 75 or so miles East of us
