Sunday Lunch

Postby Rambo » Tue Jul 28, 2020 9:27 am

Forgot to post this. I thought Joey should see a typical Sunday lunch in East Texas. Roast & Gravy with sliced carrots, home made mashed potatoes, Cornbread, & fresh tomatoes and okra from the garden.

Oh, yes. I think I could eat a lot of that. Looks really good. Thanks for sharing.

Have to add that we seldom eat warm lunch here. Usually only a few slices of bread with cheese, jam, cold cuts or liver paste.

When I was growing up we went to church and always had roast and mashed potatoes. Can’t go to church because of the Covid but Brother John is still preaching online and we watch it. Times are changing but I know where I came from; those SOB’s tearing stuff up and attacking our Law Enforcement Officer’s can kiss my Ashe. I’ll shootem if they come to my place and I mean it
