Just wondering what people use for making jerky.
Tried bottom round, too stringy.
Tried flank steak, good but verrrry expensive.

Re: Best meat for jerky?
I've used a London Broil several times and really liked the outcome a lot, however, I use a Dehydrator to make my Jerky.

Haven't tried either.
Will give Eye of Round a try first, as it happens it is on sale now in the stores weekly flyer.
Thanks guys...

Thanks Rambo
I love the eye of round for a few reasons. It’s cheap, very lean and not stringy. I usually cut across the grain about 3/8” think then cut into strips. I prefer a thicker cut. The best t fine I do it, I’ll make 4x more to see if I can get a second week out of it before my girls start eating it.
