Joe - you cant go wrong with Elvis. Haven’t had a chance to listen to any vinyl since last weekend. Might do that after work a couple of nights this week.

Josey Records selling via instagram feeds my addiction once again. Just ordered a new one. I’ll post it up when I get it!

If I may say that there wasn't a bigger Fan from the beginning than I was. Around the late Sixties, early Seventies, he kinda slacked off, much to "OUR" disapproval. THEN IN 1973 we heard he was doing a Come Back Concert from Hawaii. I can remember it like it was yesterday. All of us were sitting on the Couch in Summit County Colorado and all of a sudden we heard "Theme from Space Odyssey". We were wondering what was next and then James Burton and the Gang brought him on stage along with "The Sweet Inspirations, J.D. Sumner and the Boys PLUS some great Musicians" - - - AND THE REST IS HISTORY.

Delivery day! Can’t wait to give this a spin. Ft Worth’s own and one of my favorites.

If you are a fan of seriously sad story songs give this a listen.

Not on this album but it’s probably my favorite Cody Jinks song.

Been a while since I’ve had a chance to add anything but I picked these two albums up at Josey Records today:

I thought “William” by Chris Knight was about one of the saddest songs I’d ever heard till I heard “David”. Last couple lines in the course are hard to hear.

GTR - yes both truly tragic yer fantastic songs.

Blake - anything pre eliminator ZZ Top is on my wish list. I’ve actually been on a search for a good copy of Tres Hombres. Great album!

The record store was completely out of Skynyrd, ZZ Top and Stones In their pre owned section. That was highly unusual.
