Dark Days Insprations

Postby Boots » Sun Mar 15, 2020 10:55 pm

Seeing some pretty harrowing stuff in my business of late, given world events. My business is kind of an underpinning of all other businesses; sorta like the electrical system in a house. Too many appliances in the house overheat and blow a component or breaker, it can endanger the system itself, melt it down, short it out.

Days like these, I look to the inspiration of great but flawed men who have gone before us and overcome daunting challenges that would have withered lesser men. Sometimes their words are a guidepost, a compass bearing, a linguistic GPS to guide the soul. To that end I offer up Winston Churchill, perhaps the comeback kid of all time:

“If you’re going through he##... KEEP GOING.”

Be well brothers. We are a strong nation with broad shoulders and an unlimited capacity to overcome any challenge.

BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
