My comp pit offset gets a power wash, high rinse only after every use. My drum and my Weber’s I scrap the grates while still hot .Next day I dump the coals and give them a quick rinse out with the water hose. Try and stay away from putting cleaning chemicals in my pit. I also use a cloth to make sure I wipe up any wire brush bristles on the grates before my next cook.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!

I'm with limey. Deep clean, I wire brush everything and blow it out with compressed air, water rinse and compressed air dry.
