These were taken our old neighbor. Living here is like living on the nature channel

When I was still living "on top", this guy (or a sibling) walked past me while I was sitting on the deck. No fear, just a regal presence. The dog was inside and asleep at the time. 8)

Beautiful pics. A sight very few people will ever get the chance to see in their lifetime. You are a lucky man to live in an area like that :D

Tomcat(that's my DH) has called a few when he has went coyote callin. Said he saw one of the biggest ones he has ever seen last month. We have yet to call one up when I go with him. We would love to take pics but since he is callin coyotes he won't move. One of these days when I get to go again(been subbing at school to much to go) I'm taken my camera and a tri pod.

Most folks don't know it but bobcats make some pretty decent table fare. I have eaten a few in my day and they were quite tasty. Kinda like real tender pork loin. I've trapped and called in a few of those buggers and they are some beautiful animals.

Compared to the Mountain Lions, they are small  I've only see one of those, but I'll never forget it. 8)
