Another place for an outstanding “sloppy” roast beef PoBoy in Houma is Mr. PoBoy. There are two locations. Grand Caillou on the east side and Enterprise on the west side. Yum

Hey EH, I stopped for a couple of cold ones in Golden Meadow on my way home from work. Just to sit around and watch the traffic. This is how it went.

That last one was 2 big barges and tugs passing in the night. Magic, poetry in motion.

Re: Thinking of Egghead
Makes me wish I had got to meet Justin Wilson or see him perform just once (did get to see Jerry Clower “from Yazoo City Mississippi!!” once, it were good). But I did watch Justin’s (pronounced “joostaan”) cooking show on several occasions: “...now, you gots to have a little wine in every pot. Including me.” And he would take a long drag off the wine bottle and then pour a couple thimbles full into the pot, and then hit the wine bottle again. “Aiyeee, dat’s goood”. Right on live TV. Priceless.
His story about the worlds greatest duck dog that couldn’t swim (so he walked on water instead) was very funny.
