Woke up this morning only to see snow outside. That's not what wanted. 3 days ago it was nice shorts and t-shirt temperatures. Not anymore. Hope it goes away soon. Just a little east of me they go 13 inches so probably could have been worse.

Know it well Joe, typical day at the office in the Poconos. One day sunny and nice, 24 hrs later the plow trucks are lined up on the interstate..... It will pass, its just mother natures sense of humor.

Yes. Not uncommon in May, but since we've had a couple of weeks with summer temperatures it's bad when this comes now. Looking forward to stable summer temperatures.

When I was in the Army, I was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado. That's located in Colorado Springs, about 15 minutes or so from Pike's Peak. When I moved my first wife up there, I told her we got a LOT of snow. She was all excited.. Being from South Texas, she hadn't seen snow but twice in her life.. It snowed on her birthday, which is in June, about 3".. She then decided she didn't like the snow anymore! Through rain, snow, hot, cold, rain, I'm still going to fire up the pit!! Don't let a little inclement weather get you down!

Speaking of Colorado, back in the "daze" when I moved my Family to Summit County Colorado, we awoke to snow on Memorial Day Weekend and my two young Sons were excited but my Ex was standing at the window crying. We had 5 wonderful years there but eventually moved back to Texas because of her Father's failing health. Worth every bit of it.

Joe, you might get to skate on that swimming pool sooner than expected OK bad joke I know so I'm wishing you Sunshine and Warmer Temps soon.

A little snow or rain don't stop me from bbq'ing.

It's getting better. We sh6be in the mid 50"s by the 15th of may. At least according to the weather forecast. We celebrate our national day at the 17th of May. 2 years ago we got snow on that day. Looking better now.

Good luck with this late snow, Joe. It can be a little depressing, coming when you think that winter is finally over. The one good thing is that it will melt off quickly.

Been to Fort Carson, froze my butt off and it was April! Plus they had 3.2 beer... ugh.

Joe, hope it warms up soon. My son just got home from college in Indiana; his description through April sounds like Norway equivalent. Give me super summer and spring weather in Texas, New Mexico, or Arizona every time.

Thanks folks. I guess there are many places in the US that has the same climate as us, or even colder. I am justvglad I'm not living in the northern part of Norway. Cold and dark 24/7 the whole winter.

The snow is gone now, but still chilly. Around 30f.

Fired up the gasser for dinner
Nothing fancy, just a few hot dogs (pork) with lompe. Some of them (the thicker ones) was also filled with a little cheese. Fast and easy, but still tasty.
