I wish he could but he would probably be running after all the venison.

I understand, my master lets me off my leash once in awhile, and i know she regrets it sometimes. Oh well.

Re: 2019 Garden Thread
Well we got a little later start than I’d like but you donthings when life permits. Wife and I went Home Depot today and picked up the stuff for her and our youngest to plant the garden. Moved out of the small planter boxes into a little larger space. Hope we didn’t overcrowd but when we started buying everything sounded so good :)

Re: 2019 Garden Thread
Wish we could grow all that stuff here. Nice to have some good help from the young ones. Hope the growth will be good.
No growing here this year. Turning the garden upside down. Need to remove the dirt all the way to the end of the yellow plate. In the hole there are 1400 cft of "claymarbles" that needs to be removed. Probably by hand..

Great stuff sooner, our grandkids love coming here and hunting for strawberries. Great to see kids in a garden. Hope you don't have squirrels.

She’s beautiful. You’re gonna have a problem with the space. Can you move any?

Yes it’s just pinned in with pavers so I can expand it on the end. Tried to space the plants where the squash and zuchini spread are on the end so they can grow out and the tomatoes are separated by smaller ones like the peppers so they have some more space.

Re: 2019 Garden Thread
You all have some good looking gardens, I'm envious. Been frustrated all 12 years we've been here because its wayyy to difficult to grow fruits and veggies here. Our ground is nothing but rocks, I mean BIG MONSTROSITIES !!
I believe last year a few of you on here suggested Earth Boxes. Tomorrow, I'm hitting Lowes for some flowers and soil so I think we'll look into the Earth Boxes for the deck. We are influxed with Deer so I want to completely avoid a meltdown on my part so on the deck we will grow fruits and veggies. Also, Yogi made 2 appearances this week in the back yard so lets avoid feeding him too.....
Is there a certain potting mix/brand that would be recommended for Peppers and Tomatoes as that will be what we want to focus on for now ?? Thanks in advance for any suggestions
No lie, the biggest reddish juiciest Maters we have ever grown came from one of those Topsy Turvy deals hanging from the deck. Might just get one of those too
