Snow on the beach
Last night I was reading the new posts and the wife was complaining about the TV was not working. After checking the TV I told her must be a heavy storm between the satellite and receiver, it had been raining. She said I don't hear any rain. I opened the front door and turned on the light and found almost 2 inches of snow in the front of the house. Here on the North coast we rarely get snow on the coast. So this morning after I had gone out for breakfast mu son and I went to the beach to check it out. Most of the snow had melted but some remained. In the last 30 years it has only snowed 5 times. We do get a lot of rain though. Usually 85 to 100 inches a year.

Re: Snow on the beach
Wow...!
We lived in SoCal for a year. That happened to be the once-every-decade snow year. Everything came to a screeching halt; the news channels showed police cars stuck in an inch and a half of snow. We're from NY. We laughed.
It was pretty, though.
