there is a shadow but I doubt that he is seeing it

Re: Ground Hawg Shadow ?
Speaking of Armadillers, the Texas Hill Country has more than it's share and when we lived out there (the best 5 yrs of my Retired Life) we did a lot of mini-road trips. Most of the time they were done on Roads that were not the heavily traveled ones and dirt if we were lucky. Here's a pic that I took of a Hill Country Family crossing the road and since they had the R.O.W. we yielded and enjoyed. One of the lil'uns got left behind in the ditch so I picked him up and carried him across to where his Mom and Sibs were waiting and grunting. Then after she did a head count off they went. I still am kickin myself for not having Sherry take a pic of me holding him. He still had some pink color but the gray was coming on good.
BTW, S.T. this was just on the East Side of Buchanan Reservoir by maybe 5 miles, I'm thinking
End of Hi-Jack OH WAIT this was my Thread ain't it

I keep trying to talk the wife into "country living" I dont think it will ever happen, I believe the stint we did at Elkins lake was as close as it will ever get to her version of "country living" and she still hasn't forgotten about that one.. whew
I keep telling her when I retire we gonna buy an old school bus load everything we have in it and head toward Big Bend, when we turn south from Marathon I will make sure we only have 1/2 a tank of gas, so where the bus runs out of gas there we will be ....(she 's not real worried it will ever happen )
