Thanks. Sitting at the airport. Flight delayed due to a dent in the fuselage. It is supposedly fixed but they are awaiting approval from Airbus.

As for NYC, haven't ventured there in years.

The flight turned into a nightmare. 3 hours late from Norway due to a dent in the fuselage of the aircraft that had to be fixed. 8 hours flight to Newark. New Jersey Had to spend 4 hours in the plane after touchdown before we could taxi to the gate. Then 3 hours wait for the luggage. Another 3 hour line for the taxi, couldn't do that. Traffic also jammed. Got a train after an hour wait to get on the monorail to the train station. A noemally 50 min train tour to Downtown New York took almost 2 hour. All this because of a little bit of snow. Just heard on the news that there over 3000 car crashes in New Jersey and New York during the 12 hours the snowfall lasted.Things look better now. Bought today a couple of books to increase my knowledge.

Normally it isn't so bad. Because of 6 hours time difference we leave Oslo at 11.00 am and land in NYC at 13.00 PM so still a lot of the day left.

Only an oval weekend. Returning on Monday evening. Work on Tuesday.

Don't know why I didn't do this earlier but I just sent my long time NYC Oldies Music Pal a message to see if he knew of any places that he would recommend. Sorry the cobwebs didn't clear in my brain until just now. I'll let you know what/if? he says.
