Music when grilling or barbecuing, please share
Hi there.
I bet a lot of you play music when you're out watching your pit or grill? For my self I like to play different music but for a while I have seen playing this playlist. I don't like the music too modern, so a bit older musuc from me. Here is my playlist:
https://open.spotify.com/user/11867411/ ... bRdlrwPOPw
Anybody else who wish to share what you're playing while cooking?
I would love to hear what other listens to.

Sometimes, during the summer, we are treated to unwanted, earsplitting, ground-shaking 'music' from the people in back of our property.

That can be a big problem. I don't either like loud music from neighbors. It must be in such a volume that you're not a pain in the butt of your surroundings.Sailor Kenshin wrote:Sometimes, during the summer, we are treated to unwanted, earsplitting, ground-shaking 'music' from the people in back of our property.

Yup music and grillin go hand in hand. Mine depends on my mood. Usually some type of Red Dirt / Texas Country. Jason Boland, Robert Earl Keen, Turnoike Troubadours etc. or classic rock. ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd type. During to summer when we are hanging by the pool it’s Roger Creager and Jimmy Buffett.
Weeknight cooks I usually listen to The Ticket, our local sports / guy talk radio station.
Love Amazon Prime Music. I can just roll with whatever I feel like.

It varies over time, but lately I've been listening to a lot of symphonic metal bands from northern Europe such as Nightwish, Within Temptation and Leaves Eyes. Not your normal musical taste for a 66 year old American.

"Burning Down the House" by Talking Heads might be inappropriate.

I generally like the classics; Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, etc, but nobody wants to hear what I usually listen to. Lol

Woodstock I might have tolerated...this was techno and rap.
