Bert, use the attachment function that the forum provides. There are photos that get put on here everyday.

I've never had any trouble posting pics, however, I have always used the Attachment Feature. THerefore all of my pictures are either stored in my Computer or Camera. I simply click on the "Attachment Button" - - then "Add Files" - - - If I've ever had problems with the file size being too large, I just reduce and then post it on the Forum.

I used all time since you‘ve closed the BBcode the „add files“ button.
Bit now it tells me that the files are too big and the maximum allowed Size is 99KiB.

This is not even possible with a screenshot of a foto of a actual iPhone as well as a real Foto.

I think in a forum, which lives of pictures, it is a no go to do everything to increase the difficulty to post pictures.

There is no difficulty in posting pictures on the forum. Now, having said that, it may not be how you are used to doing it. I can post from my laptop or my phone all day long. And I can promise you one thing, if I can do it, its not a good look for those of you that say you can't.

If you think that I‘m too stupid for posting pics or that it might be user friendly, just tell it to me, please.

All the settings made by the admin concerning pictures are completely wrong.

Just look at the size of your pics. They are both smaller than 99KiB.
A normal smartphone foto has more than 1MB and a normal Foto, made by a good Camera has between 4 and 8 MB.

The admin can chose the allowed size in the forum settings in general or for each user. Normally a good forum software, such as Xenforo for example, has an automatic picture resizer.
It has also not any problem with BBCode but more with an amateur software like Tapatalk.
This makes me believe that that either nobody understand the complete wrong settings or that everybody wants to make the forum user unfriendly.

For me it is not worth the work to resize any picture so far, that it looks as if it was made by a camera build in the 1980s.
