No smoke today

Postby TX1911 » Fri Dec 08, 2017 9:46 am

Think it would be too much effort!

But we woke the kiddos up early and had a good time before school. Stay warm!

We had a surprising amount. More surprising was that it did stick to the ground.

Great pics! I’d take one good snow storm a year as opposed to the one ice storm we tend to get!

This was our first "real" snow since 2009. Just enough to be fun, not so much its annoying!

I bought a brush while in Montana 4-5 weeks ago because I had about 6” of snow on the “Geaux Tiger” truck. Never thought I would use it in South Texas. Over 4” of snow overnight had me pulling it out. Pics of the “Geaux Tiger” truck, our house, the old golf course, and a view down the street. Betcha we saw 50 snowmen while running errands today. :santa:

Hey Egghead - pics of the Geux Tiger truck reminded me. Did you see the pics of Mike the Tiger playing in the snow? They were pretty cool.

Gimme the sun any day, I HATE HATE winter. I spent the day yesterday in sweltering heat dodging 500 water bombs. Our 5yo grandsons 5th birthday at nana and gang gangs. 16 kids and parents. What a mess.

Nothing here except cold, cold, cold. I finally got fed up with my aging heat exchanger and had it swapped out Friday. Now when I set the thermostat it gets there, shuts off, and doesn't run all day. 10' ceiling are a pain for heating but we really like them.

We got our first snowfall of the season yesterday, and luckily it was a lot less than predicted: just enough to look nice on the trees and lawns.
