I finally caught the parts for my Bayou classic ceramic grill in stock. I have been trying for 2 years and I checked yesterday and they were in stock. Just in time to get here for Thanksgiving for either a turkey or a ham. I am really excited about this, I have miss her bad.
Still didn't have the gasket in stock, but I think there are some other options that work even better. Might just look into that controller posted here not long ago for a real set and forget option.

Like I said previously, I finally got the parts so my egg is finally up and functional. Had seal failure with the one I ordered (adhesive would not stick no matter what, I think it was old) but bought another yesterday and the old girl will be chugging along tomorrow. Supposed to be today, but rain, rain, rain.

Outlaw,
I have tried a few gaskets. If you have replace again down the road, I recommend a NOMEX with the Rutland adhesive. Good luck with your new one SeƱor Outlaw.
